Miscarriage Support

Miscarriage involves the loss of not only a pregnancy, but also the hopes and dreams held for that baby. Although relatively common, the emotional impact of miscarriage is still not widely acknowledged and many women find themselves unprepared for the intense emotional impact of miscarriage. The grief may be compounded by the “invisible” nature of the loss, and a lack of acknowledgement or unhelpful advice from family, friends or medical professionals.

As with any experience of grief, there is vast range of “normal” responses to miscarriage. Miscarriage grief may be experienced when others did not even know about the pregnancy, or don’t understand the depth of the sense of loss.

The aftermath of miscarriage can feel isolating and devastating. You don’t need to cope with this alone. Reach out to TAM Therapy for support and empathic guidance.
