Marianne Trinder is an accredited psychotherapist and counsellor, as well as a mindfulness instructor, with over twenty five years of experience in mindfulness practice.

TAM - talk and mindfulness - Therapy, brings together Marianne’s skills and experience in scientifically-backed, talk-based therapy as well as mindfulness practices. Marianne is passionate about introducing mindfulness in a personalised way which ensures the benefits of mindfulness are accessible to each individual’s unique circumstances.

Marianne holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology, University of Melbourne) and a Masters of Counselling (Monash University). Marianne is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and has completed advanced training in mindfulness-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for anxiety and depression as well as grief and bereavement.

Marianne is passionate about providing support for those experiencing pregnancy and early parenting issues, particularly miscarriage, pregnancy loss and pregnancy after loss. Marianne has completed specialised study and training in support for Miscarriage, Stillbirth and Neonatal loss.

Marianne has completed extensive research and ongoing training in delivering online therapy, and is confident in offering safe and effective therapy in the online space.

Marianne is a Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA, Level 3) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (Certified Practising Counsellor, PACFA) and is a member of both the PACFA College of Psychotherapists and PACFA College of Counselling.
